We want to have a large, flexible and experienced team that is able to work in all our service areas. We work with all types of people to provide them with the the support and care that they need. You might not have had a ‘care’ back ground but you could be the ideal person to work with the people that we work with. Care is changing, with the roles expanding. They can include supervising child contacts, family support, taking people on leisure trips, personal care in the home and befriending.
For any role with Midlands Social Care, full in house and professional training is provided and you will be reviewed regularly to make sure that you are happy in your role. We also offer Apprenticeships in Care, so you can learn while you work, and gain a Diploma. These will be replacing NVQs.
As with all jobs in this sector, it is required that we undertake an Enhanced CRB check and you can provide references.
