Q) Where does Midlands Social Care work?

We work in all areas across the UK, but mainly in the West Midlands region. We currently have two contact centres of our own, Dudley and Rugeley. We are able to facilitate child contact or an assessment at either location, or off site in the home or at another suitable venue.

Q) How does Midlands Social Care support students?

A) We can provide you with all the tools to help pursue a career in the social care field; this is done through many different approaches such as work experience as well as the opportunity to work as a volunteer within the organisation.

Q) I have limited practical experience in the field: will the agency support me?
A) We can provide shadowing and other professional development opportunities such as voluntary work to build confidence and develop skills.

Q) The training I have undertaken is dated, is this an issue?
A) This is not an issue, as we will provide refresher sessions which will be organised in contemporary in-house facilities and delivered by our experienced staff.

Q) The experiences I have gained are from overseas, is this an issue?
A) Assuming your qualifications are in the field and you have an up-to-date CRB, it will not be an issue. We are always looking for people that can speak the languages of the various communities we work with.

Q) I have just recently graduated, and have little or no experience in the field, am I a suitable for work?
A) We have a variety of social care positions catering for all social care professionals regardless of their levels of experience.
